Acai And Breastfeeding

Do you know if acai is safe while breastfeeding my baby?

Whether or not it is safe to take acai while you are breastfeeding really depends on the actual acai berry product. Let me explain:
Pure acai berry alone is safe because it is a food. It is full of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, and other nutrients that can benefit your breastfed baby.
Not all products are of the same quality though, so you do have to be careful when making a choice. Some products have added ingredients such as caffeine, guarana, magnesium stearate, and other additives. These ingredients are not healthy for nursing babies. You can avoid those products by reading the labels very carefully. If you're not sure about whether an ingredient is safe, you can research it online to get more information.
The safest acai products are the pure acai berry pulp (with no sugar added), pure acai berry juice, and the freeze dried powder.
Sambazon makes some products that are safe for pregnant and nursing mothers.
