Part 3: How to Make An Acai Bowl

If you've never had an acai bowl, you've been missing out on a real treat.

Acai berry bowls are easy to make.

It's easy to make an acai bowl.

Here's what you'll need:

* 2 packages of frozen acai pulp (e.g., 2 pkgs of Sambazon smoothie packs).
* 1 ripe banana
* Non-dairy beverage (e.g., soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, etc.)
* Natural sweetener to taste (I like agave syrup)
* Strawberries, sliced
* Granola

Blend the acai pulp together with 1/2 a banana, a small amount of non-dairy milk (use just enough to blend it up), and natural sweetener to taste.

It should be a nice thick paste. Scrape into a bowl. Add some strawberries, the other 1/2 of the banana sliced, and a handful of your favorite granola. Enjoy!

There is no limit to how you can enjoy acai berry products. Here are some other ideas to try:

  • Add the pulp to your smoothies. I really like the Sambazon Organic Pure Acai Smoothie Packs. They are unsweetened and do not contain any guarana. The packs come in convenient single serving pouches that you store in your freezer. Just thaw one out and blend it into to your smoothie. Easy!
