Best Way To Lose Weight?
by CW

Hi Michelle,
I want to lose weight. I weigh 260 pounds, am 5'3" and am African American. I do not have a lot of money, but, I was reading what you wrote, and I also like the fact that you include God.
I am currently on the Vegetable Soup Diet, but the weight fluctuates back and forth, with 3 pounds lost one day, and then the next, it is back.
With me eating only a little, and the weight not reducing, I am wondering what the problem can be? I did a cleanse with the red pepper, honey, and lemon. I really cannot afford to buy the other cleanses.
Is there something I can do using regular foods or a natural solution? Are there foods that burn fat? I believe that I did not just happen upon your website.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for replying.
Respectfully,
CW
Michelle says: Hi CW, fortunately you don't need a lot of money to lose weight.
If you're committed to making long term lifestyle changes, you can reduce to the ideal weight for your body. And you can keep the weight off permanently.
The first step would be to
stop dieting and start eating healthy meals instead.
When you limit your intake of food below your body's requirements, you will lose weight. BUT, it won't be long before your body will realize it's not getting enough nutrition.
Once that happens, your body will start to hold on to every single calorie it can get. Then your weight will slowly start to climb.
That whole process slows down your metabolism and makes it even harder to lose weight. That's a big part of why diet's don't work!
Learn about healthy eating on this page:
http://www.natural-health-restored.com/healthy-eating.htmlAnd get a list of healthy foods on this page:
http://www.natural-health-restored.com/healthy-foods.htmlThe next step would be to read through all of the
8 rules of healthy living and then start incorporating each and every one of them into your life every single day.
Believe it or not, each one of them plays a role in your ability to lose weight or not. They are so simple but so effective.
The only reason you don't hear about these rules more is because there is not a lot of money to be made from them.
Learn more about the 8 rules for healthy living on this page:
http://www.natural-health-restored.com/healthy-living.htmlAnother step you can take in addition to the 8 rules is to get on the two meal plan. Or, if you are not able to eat just two meals, then eat three using the suggestions I've listed on that same page.
Learn more about the two meal plan on this page:
http://www.natural-health-restored.com/two-meal-plan.htmlAll of these steps will help to bring your body back into balance. They should also help your weight to go down steadily rather than fluctuating up and down.
Here are a few foods that can help with weight loss:Raw fruits and vegetables - fruits and veggies are high in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other nutrient and low in calories. They help to cleanse and feed your cells.
Virgin Coconut oil - believe it or not, aside from being so good for you, virgin coconut oil is great for weight loss. It is high in medium chain triglycerides (MCT's) which help to boost your metabolism.
Flaxseeds - are high in beneficial fiber which keeps you feeling fuller longer. They also contain essential fatty acids which help your body to normalize and maintain a healthy weight.
Although these things can help, don't make one or two foods your main focus. Overall, it's best to eat a
wide variety of nutritious foods that will feed and nourish your body.
Once your body is getting all the nutrients it needs, you should find that you are satisfied with less food.
Hope that helps you with your weight loss goals, CW!
And please keep in touch and let me know how it goes.
