How To Fade Spots On Skin?

by Anonymous

I have spots on my skin. What is a natural remedy? It was very bad but it has improved....

Michelle says: A great natural remedy for spots on the skin is vitamin E oil. It helps to fade spots and improve the complexion over time. Here are some good quality brands of vitamin e oil you can try:

derma e Vitamin E Skin Oil 28,000 I.U.

Pure Vitamin E Oil 32,000 I.U.

You can also try rubbing some freshly squeezed lemon juice over your skin and leaving it on for 5 - 10 minutes. This will help to brighten your complexion. Because lemon juice may be too harsh for really sensitive skin, I suggest testing out the lemon juice on a small patch of skin before you rub it all over your face.

Tamanu oil and rose hip seed oil are also great for fading spots on the skin over time.

Hope that helps!

Michelle

Stain Or Spot
by: Anonymous

Hi Dear Michelle,

I have some spots on my face, about 5.2 cm, on both sides of my cheek, beside the eyes. I refer to my doctor and she said that it is because of sun shine and there is no remedy for it. So would you please guide me?

Regards

Michelle says: I would suggest that you try the suggestions I made above....

Get some vitamin e oil, tamanu oil, and rosehip seed oil and use them regularly on your face. You can use them instead of a regular moisturizer, or you can use it as a layer under your moisturizer. You could even use virgin coconut oil instead of a regular moisturizer since it's got anti-aging properties and is great for all skin types.

Also, try leaving some freshly squeezed lemon juice on your skin for a few minutes. You can do this a couple of times a week, but be sure to test just a little bit first to make sure it's not too strong for your skin. If it's too strong, you can dilute it with some water.

Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that the spots will fade (especially if your doctor had a look at them and said that there's nothing you can do). But, there's no harm in trying. Keep in mind that sometimes it takes a while for natural remedies to work. So, just be persistent and keep at it. Hopefully you will see some results.

All the best!

Michelle

Amen on the VCO...
by: ann

I'm working with an organization in the Philippines that sells a line of massage oils as a social enterprise aspect to their charitable function. The main ingredient in the oil is virgin coconut oil (VCO), and I've heard from the European volunteers who've been sending it home to mum that it makes those age spots disappear!

So just to second Michelle's (not surprisingly) correct suggestion, get yourself some of that amazing oil! Only thing is, it's not great to slap a whole bunch on without sunscreen if you're going to be in the sun all day...just tends to attract those rays.
