It's Working For Me

I recently changed to 2 meals a day to help normalize my weight - actually from being underweight. I found that I gained several pounds in a short time.

I feel that on the 2 meal a day plan my digestion works better and I can easily eat more per meal which makes up for missing a meal. I do have a smoothie between so perhaps I am really on a 2 1/2 meal plan.

I just find it hard to stick to 2 meals on weekends when I usually go back to 3 or when travelling/visiting. I believe I would do even better if I could stick to it every day.

I agree, it can be challenging during times when you are outside your normal routine. What works for me is to plan in advance and let people know how I eat. Of course, that's not always possible, so it definitely helps to be flexible as well.

In the end, most people are pretty accommodating once they know that you prefer to eat at set times and only twice a day. And, they may even want to make a switch once they see how well you are doing on the two meal plan!
