Losing Weight With The Two Meal Plan

by Anonymous
(NY, USA)

Here is my problem. I am 6" 2 and just about at the 280 pound mark. I want to be free from food, amongst other things, and would like to just eat 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner. Dinner is the one meal I look forward to, but however, don't want to binge. I would like to enjoy the feeling of being hungry and being healthier and stronger. I would like to lose a remarkable 100 pounds or a little more.

I hate my body. I don't want to date. I was on a small date the other day and my weight was bothering me a lot and it showed. My insecurities showed. Write back when you can. Once I lose the weight I will feel better and continue to eat breakfast and dinner. No lunch or any snacks.

Michelle says: Hi Phil,

The two meal plan is a great start for any weight loss program. It naturally helps to bring your body down to its ideal weight over time. It's great because it's a permanent lifestyle change where you don't need to go on a starvation diet or deprive your body of the food or nutrients that it needs. It helps your body to run more effectively and efficiently.

If you are completely new to the two meal plan, it may take some time to adjust to it, but you can do it! To get the most of of the two meal plan, don't forget to check out my suggestions for getting started on it: http://www.natural-health-restored.com/2-meal-plan.html

It's great that you look forward to dinner time. Meals are meant to be enjoyed. So do everything you can to make your mealtimes as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. That way, you'll get more satisfaction out of your food and you'll be less likely to overeat or binge.

Here are some other lifestyle changes that can help with weight loss:

Lots of water - drinking water helps to cleanse and flush out your system. And believe it or not, it can also help you to lose weight and then maintain a healthy weight. Read more about the benefits of water and how much you should drink according to your body weight in this article: http://www.natural-health-restored.com/benefits-of-water.html

Lots of exercise - it helps to burn fat and boost your metabolism. When you exercise, it causes your body to release endorphins which make you feel happier. Make it a part of your daily routine and have fun with it! Get some exercise ideas on this page: http://www.natural-health-restored.com/exercise-ideas.html

Plant-based diet made up of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds - eating whole foods provides your body with the nutrients and fiber it needs so that you don't feel the need to be eating constantly. Learn more about the plant-based diet on this page: http://www.natural-health-restored.com/plant-based-diet.html

To supplement your diet and boost your weight loss, you could try taking AIM BarleyLife and AIM Herbal Fiberblend (aka the "Dynamic Duo"). The BarleyLife is made from the juice of the young barley plant. It's high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytochemicals, etc. It helps to cleanse and nourish your body and naturally helps to boost your energy levels.

AIM FiberBlend helps to cleanse your colon from old waste matter that can prevent you from absorbing the nutrients from your food. It also helps to rid your body of parasites (which most people have). Keeping your colon clean is an important step in any weight loss program. Another benefit is that the fiber helps to keep you from feeling too hungry throughout the day.

You can learn more about BarleyLife and FiberBlend here (link will open up in a new window).

I'm sorry to hear that you hate your body and don't want to date because of it. I know that it's so easy to feel insecure when you don't like something about yourself. And when you feel down about yourself, other people may start to pick up on that negativity.

Instead of putting pressure on yourself to find "the one," why not focus on getting out there and making new friends? Maybe try to find people who like to go for walks or participate in the same physical activities you're interested in.

From the people you meet, try to choose friends that are upbeat, positive, and encouraging. And be open to allowing people to get to know who you are. Your real friends (and the right woman when she comes along) will love you for your character, personality, and who you are inside. Those are the things that really matter.

I think it's great that you've decided to take action and do something about the things you can change. With an attitude like that, you will reach your goals.

Hope that helps! Keep me posted and let me know how it goes.

Michelle

Calorie Restriction Diet For Weight Loss
by: Anonymous

I'm trying to work towards having no dinner having the chance to fast longer
until breakfast. Paul McGlothin, author of The CR Way does this (CR = Calorie Restriction).

Also, If I went without eating diner at night, would there be any change in
bowel habits? meaning, before I leave home, I like to go twice daily at home.
Would I wind up going less like, say once a day because I am merely eating
less?

On June 17, I gave up diet soda. This week, I am giving up chocolate.... Next week,
I'm not sure what I will give up yet. As you can see, I'm taking the slow route.

Michelle's Answer...

Hi Anonymous,

Sorry, but I really don't have an answer to your question about how long it will take to lose 100 pounds by skipping out on dinner. It all depends on a number of things including your metabolism, what you are actually eating, how much exercise you're doing, etc.

But the most important thing is that you are losing weight in a healthy way. Regular, healthy meals, and lots of exercise and water will help you get there.

Being on the two meal plan where you eat just breakfast and dinner helps a lot as well since you'll be burning off those calories during the day.

As for whether or not it will change your bowel habits, I'm not sure about that either. If your body is already used to a routine, it may very well stay the same. But there is no way of telling for sure. One change can affect one person in one way and another person in a completely different way.

Whatever happens, I hope that everything works out great for you!

One more thing.... If you are planning on going on the calorie restriction diet, you may want to consider consulting with a nutritionist. The nutritionist will help you in plan out meals that are nutritionally balanced. That's very important on the CR diet.

Hope that helps!
