Natural Ways To Regenerate Teeth?
by Jordan

Hey Michelle,
I have some questions about natural ways to regenerate teeth. I recently discovered your site and I've been blown away with a lot of the information.
I plan on buying
Tooth Soap and the other essential for calcium build as soon as I get the money (College Student).
I have visible yellow stains or decay on the back of my bottom teeth. I just started flossing and rinsing daily and I've been eating healthy since June. I just started taking self awareness very serious because I believe the Lord as guided me to it.
Is it possible for my teeth to remineralize and reverse decay from taking the proper steps? I'm very disciplined so I'm open to anything. I really don't want to see the dentist and I believe in your studies and in the natural way.
Thanks,
Jordan
Michelle says: Hi Jordan,
I'm glad that you have decided to adopt healthy eating habits. And I'm glad that you found my website helpful.
:-)As I mentioned on my page about
natural toothpaste, there is evidence to show that the teeth CAN remineralize. But whether or not they will repair really depends a great deal on your diet and lifestyle practices.
It sounds like you're aware that it's important to have a nourishing diet that provides your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs for repair and regeneration. Some great natural food sources of calcium are sesame seeds, almonds, chickpeas, and dark leafy greens such as kale.
In addition to keeping your teeth clean by brushing, rinsing, and flossing, you can also avoid eating between meals. People who avoid snacking tend to have less cavities than people who graze throughout the day.
In addition to
Tooth Soap which does not coat your teeth with glycerin, you can also try brushing your teeth with food grade bentonite clay. It's full of beneficial minerals. You can also mix some of the bentonite clay into a paste and let it sit over your affected teeth overnight to help promote remineralization.
Mountain Rose Herbs sells a good quality food grade clay at a reasonable price.
One more thing that I recently learned about is "oil pulling" with virgin cocount oil. Many people who have tried it have reported whiter teeth and fewer cavities. You can learn more about it by "googling it," or you can read a book called
Oil Pulling Therapy: Detoxifying and Healing the Body Through Oral Cleansing
by Dr. Bruce Fife.
If you've already got spots of decay on your teeth, you may want to visit a dentist so that you can know exactly what's going on with your teeth before you make a decision in any direction. It will also give you a baseline to see whether what you're doing is making a difference over time. Going to the dentist doesn't obligate you to follow through with their recommendations, so if you've got a dental plan, it may be worth going.
Hope that helps! And please, keep me posted and let me know how it goes with your teeth!
