The other day, I got an email from a site visitor who wanted to know if my whole wheat bread recipe was suitable for a bread machine.
That recipe does make quite a bit of bread (at least 3 loaves), so you would have to adjust the quantity of the ingredients to fit your machine.

You would also have to change the order that you add the ingredients.
But never mind trying to figure it all out....
My sister Rhonda agreed to let me post her bread machine recipe. ~ Thanks chica, you're the best! :-)
Here's the recipe...
Rhonda says: I used the Black and Decker All-In-One Deluxe Horizontal Breadmaker on the 1.5 lb "Grain" setting. Most Bread machines can also be set to a "Dough" setting so you can make buns, etc.
My sister hasn't tested this recipe out in any other bread machines, so please give it a try and let us know how it turned out.
After all this talk about bread and bread machines, I'm thinking seriously about buying one for myself. I don't own one and I've never even used one - yet! Suggest one for me here.
Baking bread from scratch is a lot of fun, but it's also very time consuming. I can't think of anyone I know (who doesn't happen to own a bakery) who has time on a regular basis to bake bread from scratch. Having a bread machine would be so much more convenient.
I need help choosing, so I'd like to know...
Have you found a bread machine that you cannot do without?
If you could have any bread machine that exists, which one would you buy?
